Memorial Music Festival

In memory of Nick Demo

The NickoDemos Memorial Music Festival is a gathering of friends and loved ones who lost their dear friend Nick Demo in a sudden, tragic accident 5 years ago. For the last four years, family, friends, musicians and artists have gathered together for the annual "Demo Fest," which celebrates his life and his love for music & arts. We celebrate Nick's memory by having many local bands perform while enjoying the day with food, raffles and fun. This benefit was initially created to help financially aid his wife and 2 children, and also to carry on Nick's name through music.

Beginning last year, we expanded the fund-raising efforts beyond "Demo Fest" and focused on raising funds for various local youth arts/music organizations and for the arts education to be carried out in Nick's name and memory. We are extremely proud to say we were able to raise well beyond our expectations, thanks to our generous contributors, sponsors and the hundreds of people who showed up at the show and partied all day! We were able to underwrite the Annual Teen Art Exhibit at Artspace Community Arts Center in Greenfield, which was filled with wonderfully talented teens. We were also able to generously support the Avenue A Music Project at The Brick House in Turners Falls by helping them to purchase brand new musical equipment and building supplies for their music room.

It is our goal this year to go even further in raising funds to support our local youth music & arts programs. We look forward to seeing you at this years festival. It is a great time for a great cause.
